FAQ: Using Video Files for Digital Signage
When using video files for Digital Signage we recommend to use the h.264 format.
For Android devices please consider the guidelines from this page:
http://developer.android.com/guide/appendix/media-formats.html
If you are not familiar with codec formats and video settings you may use any video converter tool (like e.g. the open source tool Handbrake
http://www.handbrake.fr) to convert the video into the appropriate video format (Handbrake provides a presetting for Android Tablets).
When using Windows Vista it is recommended to install the K-Lite codec pack offered during the installation of SiteKiosk (for h.264 support).
