SiteKiosk: Bug Fix for critical error
On kiosk machines with SiteKiosk versions earlier than 8.7 under Windows 7, the system will in most cases become unusable after Internet Explorer 10 is installed. The affected SiteKiosk versions are 7.1 - 8.6. Any Windows 7 computers that have automatic updates enabled will be affected because Internet Explorer 10 is installed automatically as part of Windows updates.

All software resellers are strongly encouraged to forward this information to the operators of the kiosks. PROVISIO has no information about the end user and therefore cannot directly inform them!

Hello,

I am sorry but there is no iPad version of SiteKiosk available and there is actually no plan to create a SiteKiosk version for the iPad (also because of the restrictions made by Apple about accessing the iOS system).

But we provide a special SiteKiosk Version for Android systems.

A SiteRemote support is currently not integrated but planned with the next version.

Michael Olbrich

Thank you for your fast responce as always Michael, but you misunderstood my question, i suppose it was not so clear, my mistake. I know about the restrictrions in many things about Apple. And not except a sitekiosk version.
The problem which i encounter is that i cannot use the siteremote control of my kiosks thru siteremote, i cannot see siteremote panels in ipad browser, has something to do with code use for left and right part of siteremote. When i log in siteremote i see left side and in IPAD3 for a moment also the right side, after a second i lost right side at all. In IPAD1 only the right side all time.
Maybe you have test it with some other IPAD browser and you can informe about it.

Hello,

Sorry for the misunderstanding. Generally the SiteRemote web page was checked with the usual desktop browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox,…).
But I will forward the information to our developers that they may also consider mobile browses with the next version.
You may also check the iOS version on your iPad and make an update if available.

Regards,
Michael Olbrich

Hello,

Thank you for this information. We also look at the possibilty to create a seperate mobile page.
Which information would you need the most in a mobile web page of SiteRemote?

Michael Olbrich
