SiteKiosk: Bug Fix for critical error
On kiosk machines with SiteKiosk versions earlier than 8.7 under Windows 7, the system will in most cases become unusable after Internet Explorer 10 is installed. The affected SiteKiosk versions are 7.1 - 8.6. Any Windows 7 computers that have automatic updates enabled will be affected because Internet Explorer 10 is installed automatically as part of Windows updates.

All software resellers are strongly encouraged to forward this information to the operators of the kiosks. PROVISIO has no information about the end user and therefore cannot directly inform them!

Description
I am trying to enable Right-Click functionality in SiteKiosk

I have configured SystemSecurity with "Restrict Internet Explorer" checked off and "Disable Right Mouse Button" checked off.

I have configured the SiteKiosk configuration file with "Enable Context Menu" checked on.

Right-Click functionality does not work; Right-Clicking does not bring up the Context Menu.

I have tested this in 8.1.640 and 8.2.797, with identical behaviour in both.

I have also tried it with all SystemSecurity restrictions removed. When I log on as the user and load the site in question in a regular IE9 window, Right-Click functionality is present.

The Logfile does not report any errors.

I have also removed all domain group policies from this machine, in case there was an issue there. No change.

With SiteKiosk running, I connected to the registry of the machine, and checked the HKU\S-1-5-21-2017367285-743542638-4283484639-1009 settings. There is no Policies setting that might restrict this.

I don't really know what to try next.

Never mind, the Skins file was at fault, there was no Right-Click context menu for it to show.
